On March 18, the mainstream selling price of the national seamless pipe market was stable, and the transaction was general. The average selling price of 108*4.5 seamless pipes in 33 cities across the country was $611/ton, which was the same as the previous trading day and $1.67/ton lower than the same period last week.
In terms of raw materials, the market price of pipe billets was stable today, with the EXW price of continuous casting pipe billets being around $460-$474/ton, and the market price of hot-rolled billets being around $458-$460/ton. In terms of pipe factories, the EXW price of Shandong seamless pipes was weakly stable, with Shandong's first-stage cold-drawn pipes ex-factory at $634.5/ton, hot-rolled pipes ex-factory at $561/ton, and Liaocheng thick-walled pipes ex-factory at around $551-$555/ton.
Today's daily shipment of seamless pipes was about 14,822 tons, a daily decrease of 0.2% month-on-month and an annual increase of 18%. Today, except for North China, Southwest China, Northeast China, Central China and South China, the transaction volume in other regions has increased month-on-month, while the transaction volume in other regions has decreased slightly, among which the Northwest region has the largest decrease of 15.6%. It is expected that the seamless pipe market is likely to be stable with slight adjustments in the near future.
